San Salvador is a peaceful 12 mile long island where Christopher Columbus made his first landfall during his historic voyage to the New World. The island includes monuments commemorating his visit, old plantation ruins, historical Lucayan Indian sites, and an old kerosene-operated lighthouse. Participants will fly in/out of San Salvador (airport code ZSA), either on a charter flight from Ft. Lauderdale or into Nassau and then on a short hopper flight.
